John Mancini, of Infonomics Magazine and Digital Landfill, has posted an interesting presentation explaining how social networks helped Barrack Obama win the White House.
"They didn’t view their online presence as an adjunct to the campaign, it was the campaign," Mancini says.

It had over 3 million individual contributors.
